Three DSU Volleyball players named 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar Athlete

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that a total of 304 volleyball players have been named 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar Athletes. Three Dakota State volleyball players have earned this prestigious honor.
The recipients were nominated by each institution's head coach. A student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved at least junior academic status to qualify.
The following Dakota State players have earned this honor:
- Rachael Jensen - Senior Biology major - daughter of Mark and Jonda Jensen of Beresford, S.D.
- Vicki Kaul - Senior Graphic Design & Web Development major - daughter of Vern and Donna Kaul of Springfield, S.D.
Amy Pheneger - Junior Physical Education major - daughter of Jeff and Angela Pheneger of Champlin, Minn.
