Berkness tabbed as DAC Male Runner of the Week

Dakota State's Devon Berkness was tabbed by the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) as Male Runner of the Week.
Berkness finished second at the Briar Cliff Invitational last Saturday as the Trojans captured the team title. He ran the 8000 meter course in 25 minutes and 37 seconds, which was more than 30 seconds better than his personal best.
Devon is the son of Robert and Marlys Midlenberg of Madison, S.D. Devon is a junior Forensics major at Dakota State University.
The DSU cross country teams will compete in the final meet of the season on Oct. 24 at the Mount Marty Invitational before the DAC championships.
