Jensen named DAC Volleyball All-Conference Team

Rachael JensenThe Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) has announced the volleyball's All-Conference teams Monday.  Dakota State's Rachael Jensen had been selected as DAC Volleyball All-Conference second team.  It was her second consecutive year she have received this honor.

Jensen had a stellar four-year career at Dakota State University.  She led the team with 322 teams (3.3 kills per set) and 389 digs (3.9 digs per set).  She had a .243 killing efficiency for the 2009 season.

In a home match with Dakota Wesleyan on Sept. 29th, 2009, Jensen had surpassed her 1000th career kill.  She ranks third in the Trojan Volleyball Record Book for most career kills with 1155 kills.  In addition, Jensen recorded 1473 career digs.

Rachael is the daughter of Mark and Jonda Jensen of Beresford, S.D.  She is a senior Biology major at Dakota State University.
