Breitling Honored as NAIA Baseball All-American Scholar Athlete

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Baseball Scholar Athletes.  There are 239 student-athletes honored with this award.

Ryan Breitling, senior from Sioux Falls, S.D., received this honor for his second straight year.  He graduated in May 2009 with a double major in Management and Marketing at Dakota State University.  Ryan is the son of Rod and Cheri Breitling.

The recipients are required to be a junior or above in academic standing; attendance at the nominating institution a minimum of one full year; have a minimum grade point average of 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) at the time of nomination at the nominating institution; have been certified as eligible on the varsity roster; and form completed with required signatures.
