Trojan Volleyball ends season with loss in DAC Postseason Quarterfinals

JAMESTOWN, N.D. - The Dakota State University volleyball team was the eighth seed in the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC).  The Trojans traveled to Hansen Center to face the DAC's top-seeded Jamestown College.  DSU could not come up with a win as they suffered a 3-0 loss to the Jimmies.

The match scores were 25-15, 25-12, 25-17.

Rachael Jensen led the Trojans' offense attack with seven kills.  Ashley Schulte added six kills.  Stephanie Kruggel recorded 12 set assists.

The Trojans committed 21 killing errors in the match.

Jensen had nine digs for Trojans' defense.  Kruggel added seven digs.  Schulte had one solo block and two block assists.  Taylor Brown added a solo block and one block assist.

No statistics were available for Jamestown.

The loss ended Dakota State's 2009 volleyball campaign at 9-19 overall.
