DSU picked to finish seventh in DAC Women's Basketball Preseason Poll

DICKINSON, N.D. - The Dakota State University women's basketball was tabbed to finish seventh in the DAC Preseason Poll released today.
Jamestown edged defending DAC conference champion Dickinson State and Black Hills State for the top spot. The Jimmies picked up four first place votes to grab the top ranking, while the Blue Hawks and Yellow Jackets split the remaining first place selections to finish in a tie for second place.
Valley City State placed fourth in the poll with Minot State fifth, South Dakota School of Mines sixth, Dakota State seventh and Mayville State eighth.
The poll was conducted by the Dakota Athletic Conference.
The Trojans play their first game of the season on Friday, Oct. 30 in Peru, Neb. DSU will take on Peru State College in a non-conference game.
