Dordt Invitational Results

Danielle RoweSIOUX CENTER, Iowa - The Dakota State University women's and men's indoor track and field teams returned to action last Saturday in the Dordt Invitational held at the Dordt College Rec Center.

Danielle Rowe qualified for NAIA Nationals in the women's jump.  She placed second with a high jump measure of 5 feet and 3.75 inches.  Stephanie Uher cleared the high jump in 4 feet and 9.75 inches.

Brittany Young finished third in the women's 600-meter run with a time of 1 minute and 42.94 seconds.

Anthony DrealanSamantha Warnke placed fourth with a time of 5:40.50 in the women's one mile run.  She finished fourth in the 3000-meter run in 11:01.13.

The DSU women's 4 x 400 meter relay team crossed the finish line in fifth place with a time of 4:24.38.

Amber Krogstad competed in the triple jump and finished fifth with a jump measure of 32 feet.

Two Trojan men captured individual titles at the meet.  Anthony Drealan captured the title in the men's one mile run with a time of 4 minutes and 30.17 seconds.  Devon BerknessDevon Berkness notched the men's 3000-meter run title in 9:13.06.

Tyler Van Peursem placed fourth in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:24.06.

Matt Fideler finished fourth in the men's 800-meter run in 2:00.34.  Drealan placed fifth (2:03.94).

Fideler recorded third place finish in the one mile run with a time of 4:34.73.

Drew Allen captured third place in the men's 55-meter hurdles in 8.10 seconds.

Stacey Berg placed fifth in the men's long jump with a measure of 21 feet and 3.50 inches.  He also placed fifth in the triple jump (42 feet, 6.25 inches).

Jeff Rieger recorded fifth place in the shot put with a throw measure of 41 feet and 6.50 inches. 

The men's 4 x 400 meter relay team placed fourth with a time of 3:32.62.  The men's 4 x 800 relay team captured second place in 8:10.23.

Dakota State indoor track and field teams will compete in the USD/Graphic Edge Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 23rd.  The meet will be held at the USD DakotaDome in Vermillion, S.D.
