Licht signs letter-of-intent to play for Trojan Football

Josh LichtThe Dakota State University head football coach Josh Anderson is proud to announce the letter-of-intent signing of Josh Licht to play for Trojan Football in the fall of 2010.  He will play tight end position for the Trojans.

Licht, 6'2" and 205 lbs., will graduate from Estelline High School in May.  He is listed in the Argus Leader "Elite 45."  Licht was Brookings All-Register team, All-Conference, team captain and academic All-State.  He was coached by Mark Kreie.

In two years with Estelline High School football team, Licht recorded 77 catches for 1,054 yards.  He caught 15 touchdown passes.  In defense, Licht had 83 tackles, 11 sacks, seven fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles, three blocked punts and one interception in his senior year.  He recorded a total of 185 tackles and 24 sacks in his junior and senior years.

Licht also lettered in basketball and track.  He is the son of Bill and Lisa Licht.  Josh's intended major will be Math at Dakota State University.
