Trojan Softball team opens 2010 season Saturday and Sunday

The Dakota State University women's fast-pitch softball team will open their 2010 season this weekend. The Trojans will be taking part in the Husky Invitational, hosted by St. Cloud State University. The games will be held at the Husky Dome in St. Cloud, Minn.
On Saturday, Dakota State will face DAC conference foe Valley City State at 5 p.m. This will be a non-conference game for both teams. At 7 p.m., the Trojans will face NCAA Division II Bemidji State University.
DSU will face two more NCAA Division II schools on Sunday, Feb. 28th. The Trojans play Southwest Minnesota State at 11 a.m. Dakota State will face University of Minnesota-Crookston in a nightcap at 5 p.m.
