Whidby inks letter-of-intent to play for DSU Football

Dakota State University head football coach is proud to announce the signing of Shane Whidby to play for Trojan Football in the fall of 2010.
Whidby, 6'3" and 235 lbs., will graduate from Sturgis Brown High School this spring. He played offensive line under Scoopers' head coach Rod Richardson. Whidby was named to All-Conference honorable mention in 2007-2008 and team captain. He was selected as the most valuable lineman in 2008.
Shane is the son of Monte Whidby and Tyra Austin of Sturgis, S.D. He plans to major in Elementary Education at DSU.
