JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - On the final day of the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championship at the ETSU's Memorial Center "Mini-Dome," the Trojans competed in three finals events.

Brittany Young (freshman, Casper, Wyo.) improved her DSU school record in the women's 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.85 and finished fifth in the finals. As a result, she earned NAIA All-American honor.

Danielle Rowe (junior, Rapid City, S.D.) finished fourth in the women's high jump finals. She cleared a high jump's height of five feet and five inches and was named to NAIA All-American.

The Trojan men's distance medley relay team - Anthony Drealan (senior Fulda, Minn.), Cody Foreman (senior, Miller, S.D.), Matt Fideler (junior, Volga, S.D.) and Tyler Van Peursem (senior, Sioux Falls, S.D.) - was runner-ups in the finals. The relay team finished with a time of 10:01.78, a new DSU school record (previously set earlier this season with a time of 10:09.25). Drealan, Foreman, Fideler and Van Peursem earned NAIA All-American honors.

The NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championship meet concluded the 2009-2010 DSU indoor track and field season.
