Trojan Football signs five Arizona recruits

William BushongDSU head football coach Josh Anderson is proud to announce the signings of five Arizona recruits - William Bushong, Matt Groff, Aaron Gronwald, Kevin Pantastico and Nathan Wittler.  They will be joining the Trojan Football team in the fall.

Bushong, 6'0" and 180 lbs., comes from Copper Canyon High School.  He played defensive back for head coach Michael Segovia.  Matt GroffBushong earned All-Conference honorable mention twice and was a three-year starter.  William (Billy) is the son of Don and Letty Bushong of Phoenix, Ariz.

Groff, 6'1" and 170 lbs., played defensive back and running back for Prescott High School under head coach Lou Beneitone.  Groff was named to first team All-Region and All-Area.  He was named to Tri-City Dream Team and All-Courier Dream Team two times.  Groff was the team captain.  He was the region leader in interceptions for two years.  Matt is the son of David and Karen Groff of Prescott, Ariz.  Aaron GronwaldHe plans to study in education and coaching at Dakota State University.

Gronwald, 6'0" and 170 lbs., will graduate from Prescott High School this spring.  He was also a defensive back for coach Beneitone.  He was a two-time team captain.  Gronwald was named first team All-Region wide receiver and defensive back, All-Area and earned the Steinbrink awards.  He also lettered in baseball and was the team captain.  Aaron is the son of James and Kelly Gronwald of Prescott, Ariz.  He plans to major in Pre-Veterinary at DSU.Kevin Pantastico

Pantastico, 6'3" and 180 lbs., will graduate from Desert Ridge High School this spring.  He played quarterback for head coach Jeremy Hatcock.  Pantastico was named All-Conference and All-State honorable mention two times.  He holds a state record in passing yards in a single game with 603 yards.  He records the most passing yards and most touchdowns in school history.  Pantastico was named to the team's most valuable player and best offense back.  He was named to ESPN's "Rise Player of the Week."  Kevin is the son of Jamie and Kim Pantastico of Mesa, Ariz.

Nathan WittlerWittler, 6'4" and 230 lbs., comes from Prescott High School.  He played defensive tackle under Beneitone.  He lettered in football for four years.  Nathan is the son of Francis and Jenice Wittler of Prescott, Ariz.  He plans to major in science at DSU.
