Bolin and Parr named to Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes award

Brian BolinPOINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 92 Division II men's basketball players have been named 2010 Daktronics-Scholar Athletes.  Brian Bolin and Jackson Parr of Dakota State had received this prestigious award.

Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify.

Jackson ParrBolin had received the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete award for his second straight year.  He is the son of Bill and Andrea Bolin of Garrison, Minn. and majors in Biology at DSU.

Jackson is the son of Greg Parr and Julie Larter of Sydney, Australia.  He is majoring in Exercise Science at Dakota State University.
