Donahue earns DAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week honor

The Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) has selected Dakota State's Jared Donahue as baseball pitcher of the week Monday.
Donahue pitched the Trojans to a 3-1 victory over Dickinson State Sunday in the DAC Preseason Tournament held in Rapid City, S.D. Sunday. He threw six strong innings, allowed one earned run on three hits. He struck out 11 batters and gave up two walks.
Donahue leads the DAC conference in strikeouts with 42. According to the NAIA DakStats statistical website as of Tuesday (today), he ranks second in the nation in batters struck out per nine inning (13.7) and 43rd in total batters struck outs.
Jared is the son of Pat and Kristi Donahue of Winner, S.D. He is a sophomore Business Management at Dakota State University.
