Gimbel signs letter-of-intent to play Trojan Football

Ryan GimbelDSU football head coach Josh Anderson is proud to announce the letter-of-intent signing from Ryan Gimbel. He will be joining the Trojan Football team as defensive end this fall.

Gimbel will graduate from Hill City High School this spring. He played middle linebacker and running back under head coach Chad Ronish. Gimbel, 6’0” and 245 lbs., was a team captain for two years. He was named the Outstanding Back and Slobber Knocker awards. He was listed as the Best of the West honorable mention. Gimbel also lettered in basketball and track. He earned Academic All-State honor.

Ryan is the son of Larry and Theresa Gimbel of Hill City, S.D. He plans to major in Biology at Dakota State University.
