BA Game Notes: Trojans begin nine-game stretch on the road Wednesday

The Dakota State University baseball team will begin their nine-game stretch on the road on Wednesday in Mitchell.  The Trojans face their in-state rival Dakota Wesleyan at the Caldwell Park for one nine-inning game at 3 p.m.  DSU will travel to Mayville State for a four-game DAC conference series on Saturday and Sunday in Mayville, N.D. with the doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. each day.

DSU has won 10 games in the last 11 games.  The Trojans' overall record is 16-11 and holds one-game lead in the DAC conference with a 7-1 record.  Dakota Wesleyan is 21-13 after their 7-1 defeat at NCAA Division I North Dakota State Tuesday night.  Mayville State is 16-13 overall and 5-3 in the DAC.  The Comets will host University of Sioux Falls in a doubleheader Wednesday.

The Trojans remain third in the DAC baseball weekly rankings.  Mayville State is fourth.
