Tiede earns DAC Baseball player of the week honor

Josh TiedeThe Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) has selected Dakota State's second baseman Josh Tiede as player of the week.

Tiede batted .429 with a 1.357 slugging percentage in helping the Trojans gain a split of back-to-back doubleheader against DAC conference leader Dickinson State.  In 14 at-bats, he had eight hits, one double, four home runs and two walks with four runs scored, eight RBIs and a stolen base.

Josh is the son of Dan and Lisa Tiede of Newport, Wash.  He is a senior Exercise Science major at Dakota State University.

The Trojan baseball team will play in the DAC postseason tournament play, starting on Friday, May 7th, in Dickinson, N.D.  the pairings have not been announced.
