DAC Conference Tournaments news and changes due to inclement weather

DACMADISON, S.D. - The Dakota State University Athletic Department would like to announce the news and changes in the DAC spring sports postseason dates due to inclement weather.  Wet weather (rain and snow) is predicted this weekend in the Midwest region.

The DAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship meet is still on schedule for Friday in Rapid City, S.D.  The first event is scheduled at 11 a.m. (MT).

The DAC Softball Postseason Tournament in Valley City, N.D. has been pushed back a day.  The tournament has been rescheduled for Saturday and Sunday and if needed, Monday.  Dakota State is scheduled to open against Minot State on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the College Complex Field #2.

The DAC Baseball Postseason Tournament, originally scheduled to play in Dickinson, N.D., had been moved to two sites - Jamestown, N.D. and Mayville, N.D. on Saturday and Sunday.  The championship game will be held in Jamestown on Monday.  The Trojans will face Minot State at 4 p.m. with the winner advancing to face top-seed Jamestown at 7 p.m. Saturday.  Click here for the updated tournament bracket's schedule and sites.
