SB: Neiman and Stevenson earn DAC Gold Glove awards

The Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) has announced the all-conference teams and postseason awards for softball after the completion of the postseason tournament Monday. Two Dakota State athletes had been selected to Gold Glove awards for the best performances during the 2010 season.
Leslie Neiman, sophomore from Elkhorn, Neb., played first base for the Trojans. She played in 39 games and recorded 248 catches. She had 239 putouts with five assists and recorded four errors. Her fielding percentage was .984. Leslie is the daughter of Kurt and Ruth Neiman.
Amanda Stevenson, sophomore from Victoria, B.C. Canada, was the outfielder for DSU. She started all 44 games for the Trojans. Stevenson recorded 105 catches and 99 putouts. She had four errors and recorded a .962 fielding percentage. Amanda is the daughter of Daryl Stevenson and Stephanie Woodcock.
