'Media Day' set for each DSU fall sports

Dakota State University Athletic Department will be hosting media day on different days for each fall sports including volleyball, football and men's and women's cross country.
The Trojan volleyball team will have their media day on Monday, Aug. 21 at 1 p.m. in the DSU Fieldhouse. They will be taking their individual and team pictures. DSU head coach Amy Veenhof and the volleyball players will be available in the gym for preseason interviews. The Trojan volleyball team will report to fall camp on Sunday, Aug. 15. Their first volleyball competition will be at the Grand View (IA) tournament on the weekend of Aug. 27-28.
DSU football team will be hosting their media day on Friday, Aug. 27 at 4 p.m. The event will be held at the Trojan Field with their individual and team pictures taken. The Trojan Football coaching staff and football players will be available for interviews at the field. The football team reports to fall camp on Sunday, Aug. 15. The Trojan football team opens their season on Saturday, Aug. 28 versus Midland Lutheran at the Trojan Field. Kickoff is slated at 7 p.m.
Dakota State men's and women's cross country teams will be holding their media day on Thursday, Sept. 2. It will take place at the DSU Fieldhouse at 4 p.m. First-year head coach Mike Nekuda and his student-athletes will be available for interviews in the fieldhouse's lobby. The Trojan cross country teams will report to fall camp on Saturday, Aug. 28. Their first meet will be on Friday, Sept. 3 at the Dakota Wesleyan Invitational in Mitchell, S.D.
