August 19, 2010

DAC BowlThe Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) is proud to announce the Dacotah Bank DAC Bowl to be played on Sunday, Nov. 7 at the Fargodome in Fargo, N.D.  The event will feature eight schools of the conference competing in four games to wrap up the football regular season.  Dacotah Bank is partnering with the DAC to co-sponsor the event.

Dacotah Bank has 35 locations in hometowns throughout North Dakota and South Dakota, including Minot, Dickinson, Valley City and Rapid City.

"The Dakota Athletic Conference is grateful to Dacotah Bank for their willingness to partner with us to make this a special event for all conference members, their athletes, families, alumni and fans," said DAC Commissioner LaVern Jessen.  "We expect this event to be a great opportunity to showcase the outstanding football played in the DAC."

The Dacotah Bank story began in the late 1800's when a young pioneer financier stepped off the train near Aberdeen, S.D. with $15 cash in his pockets.  Three generations later that seed money has inspired Dacotah Bank's growth to $1.5 billion in assets throughout a network of 35 hometown banks and insurance offices.

Dacotah Bank employs nearly 500 people and serves over 50,000 customers with banking, insurance, mortgage and trust services.  It's good to be in Dacotah Territory and we are here for you.

More information about Dacotah Bank is available at www.dacotahbank.com.

All games will count in the conference standings even though teams will be meeting for the second time in the season.  The pairings are based on the conference standings following the games played on Oct. 30.  The pairings will have number one facing number four; number two will play number three; number five will go up against number six and number seven will take on number eight.
