DSU Volleyball begins five-match home stand Friday

Margie AnthonyThe Dakota State University volleyball team returns home this weekend.  The DAC Volleyball Conference season opener will begin on Friday.  The Trojans will host 2009 DAC's tournament champion Black Hills State at 7 p.m.  On Saturday, DSU welcomes South Dakota School of Mines at 3 p.m.  All matches will be at the DSU Fieldhouse.

On Friday night against Black Hills State, the theme for the volleyball match will be from the 1980's.

The Trojan volleyball team will be recognizing their parents prior to the match on Saturday versus South Dakota School of Mines.

Dakota State will begin their five-match home stand on Friday.  During the Trojan homecoming week, DSU hosts Mount Marty on Sept. 22, Valley City State on Sept. 24 and Jamestown on Sept. 25.

The Trojans remain fifth in the second week of the DAC's conference weekly rankings.  Jamestown is first, followed by Black Hills State second, South Dakota School of Mines third and Dickinson State fourth.
