Trojan runners prepare home meet on Saturday

The Dakota State University women's and men's cross country teams will run in their lone home meet of the season, the DSU/Herb Blakely Invitational, on Saturday. The meet will be held at the Madison Country Club with the women's race starting at 10:30 a.m. with the men's to follow at approximately 11:10 a.m.
The teams included in the meet are host team Dakota State, NCAA Division I South Dakota State (women's), Briar Cliff, Dakota Wesleyan, United Tribal Technical College and unattached runners. In addition, the meet will feature Dakota State alumni women's and men's teams including Anthony Drealan (2009 NAIA Cross Country All-American), Tyler Van Peursem (2009 DAC individual cross country champion) and Chris Heezen (NAIA National qualifier).
A total of 37 women's and 39 men's runners will be running at the meet.
The weather forecast for Saturday morning calls for partly cloudy skies with temperatures ranging from 45 degrees to 50 degrees. The wind will come from the north-northeast at 5 to 15 miles per hour.
