DSU Football battles with Black Hills State Saturday

The Dakota State University football team travels to the Lyle Hare Stadium on Saturday to battle the Yellow Jackets of Black Hills State.  This Saturday will mark the seventh annual Missouri River Shoot-Out.  Kickoff is slated at 2 p.m. (CT)/1 p.m. (MT).

Dakota State's overall record is 0-4 and 0-2 in the DAC conference.  Black Hills State is 3-1 and 2-0 in the conference.

Black Hills State owns a 5-1 Missouri River Shoot-Out series record.  The Yellow Jackets won the last five meetings.  It was originally started in 2004 where the Trojans defeated the Yellow Jackets 27-17 in Spearfish, S.D.  In both teams' last meeting at the Trojan Field on Sept. 26, 2009, the Trojans scored first with a touchdown in the first quarter before BHSU scored 44 unanswered points to defeat the Trojans, 44-7.

As of Thursday, the weather forecast predicts dry and sunny skies.  Temperatures will be in the upper 60's.  Winds will be from the east-southeast at 5 to 15 miles per hour.
