DSU announces 2010-11 track schedules

Dakota State University women's and men's track and field head coaches (Mike Nekuda and Buzz Stevenson) had announced its 2010-11 indoor and outdoor track and field schedules.
The Trojans will kick off their 2010-11 indoor track and field season on Dec. 11 at the Wildcat Preseason Open in Wayne, Neb. DSU returns back to action after the winter break on Jan. 15 to compete in the Dordt Invitational.
The Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) Indoor Track and Field Conference Championships will be held in Spearfish, S.D. on Feb. 18-19, 2011.
The NAIA National Indoor Track and Field National Championships will have a new location this year. For the past few years, the national meet was held in Johnson City, Tenn. On March 3-5, 2011, it will be held in Geneva, Ohio.
Dakota State will host two outdoor meets in the 2011 outdoor track and field season. The Trojans open the outdoor season hosting the DSU Invitational at the Trojan Field on March 25. DSU hosts another meet on April 21.
The Trojans will compete in the Sioux City Relays on April 15-16, the Drake Relays on April 30-May 1 and the Howard Wood Relays on May 6-7.
The DAC Outdoor Track and Field Conference Championships will be held in Minot, N.D. on May 13. The NAIA national meet will be held in Marian, Ind. on May 26-28.
