Trojan Volleyball concludes DAC's first half Wednesday

The Dakota State University Trojan volleyball team will conclude their four-match on the road Wednesday. The Trojans will take on their traveling partner Mayville State to conclude the first half of the DAC conference schedule. The match will be held at the Lewy Lee Fieldhouse in Mayville, N.D. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
Both teams are looking to end their losing streak. DSU is currently on a four-match losing streak with their last win against Valley City State on Sept. 24. Mayville State is on a five-match match losing streak. The Comets defeated South Dakota School of Mines on Sept. 17, which was their last win.
Dakota State is 7-15 overall record. Mayville State is 2-16 on the season. Both teams are 1-5 in the DAC conference.
Since the volleyball season started, Jamestown remains the top-ranked team in the DAC conference weekly rankings. The Jimmies had won 31 straight DAC conference matches. Dickinson State is ranked second, followed by Minot State third, Black Hills State fourth and South Dakota School of Mines fifth.
Dakota State ranks 44th in the nation for total service aces with 144.
