DSU men’s runners remain 2nd, women’s 6th in DAC’s weekly rankings

After an idle week, the Dakota State University men's and women's cross country teams remained in the same rank in the latest DAC conference weekly rankings.
The Trojan men's cross country team ranks second for the second straight week. Dakota State received 22 votes and ranks 33rd in the fourth edition of the NAIA Men's Cross Country National Poll, released on Wednesday.
Black Hills State remained the top-ranked team in the conference rankings. Minot State is third, followed by South Dakota School of Mines fourth, Jamestown fifth, Dickinson State sixth and Valley City State seventh.
On the women's side, Dakota State ranks sixth in the conference weekly rankings. Black Hills State remained the top-ranked team in the DAC. Minot State is second, followed by Jamestown third, South Dakota School of Mines fourth and Dickinson State fifth. Valley City State is seventh.
Dakota State returns back to action on Saturday. The Trojans will compete in the Briar Cliff Invitational. The meet will be held in McCook Lake, S.D.
