Trojan Women's Basketball picked to finish 8th in DAC

DICKINSON, N.D. - Black Hills State is the pick of the conference coaches in the Dakota Athletic Conference 2010-11 Women's Basketball Coaches' Preseason Poll. Dakota State was picked to finish eighth.
The Yellow Jackets received seven first-place votes to top the balloting. Minot State is second and Valley City State is third with a first-place vote.
South Dakota School of Mines finished fourth in the poll, followed by Dickinson State, Mayville State and Jamestown.
Dakota State opens their season at home on Nov. 2 against their in-state rival Dakota Wesleyan of the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. at the DSU Fieldhouse.
The DAC conference game begins on Dec. 1. The Trojans travel to Mayville State for their first DAC conference game on Dec. 3 in Mayville, N.D.
