DSU Men's Basketball tabbed to finish 7th in DAC

Gary GarnerDICKINSON, N.D. - Black Hills State is favored to win their third straight conference title in the Dakota Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Coaches' Preseason Poll.  The Trojans were picked to finish seventh.

The Yellow Jackets received seven first-place votes to garner the top spot in the rankings.  Jamestown is second.  Valley City State picked a first-place ballot to place third.

Dickinson State and Minot State are tied for fourth in the voting.  South Dakota School of Mines is picked to finish sixth and Mayville State eighth.

Dakota State opens their 2010-11 season in the DWU/Fulton State Bank Classic on Oct. 29-30 in Mitchell, S.D.

The DAC conference game begins on Dec. 1.  The Trojans travel to Mayville State for their first DAC conference game on Dec. 3 in Mayville, N.D.
