Berg named DAC Football Offensive Player of the Week

Stacey BergThe Dakota Athletic Conference has selected Dakota State's Stacey Berg as Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 19-24.

Berg, a sophomore wide receiver, had five catches for 182 yards and two touchdowns in the Trojans' 58-48 setback to Jamestown College on Saturday.  Berg and quarterback Paul Bagala connected for a 92-yard score to tie the Dakota State's school record for longest touchdown pass.

For the season, Berg has 23 catches for a total of 440 yards.  He averages 3.3 receptions per game for an average of 62.9 yards per game.  Berg has three touchdown passes and averages 19.1 yards per catch.

Stacey is the son of Kevin and Melissa Berg of Winslow, Ariz.  He is a Business Management major at Dakota State University.
