2010 DAC Volleyball Tournament pairings announced

Jamestown will be the number one seed when the final Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) Postseason Volleyball Tournament opens on Saturday night, Nov. 6. The Jimmies and Dickinson State are tied for first place in the conference with a 12-1 record. Jamestown owns the tiebreaker over the Blue Hawks.
The 2010 DAC Volleyball Tournament will feature eight teams. The winner of the tournament receives the league's automatic berth to the NAIA National Volleyball Tournament. The quarterfinals action will take place in four highest seeds on Saturday. The semifinals will be played on Wednesday, Nov. 10 and the DAC Postseason Championship will be played on Saturday, Nov. 13.
The NAIA National Volleyball Tournament will begin on Saturday, Nov. 20 with opening round matches oat 12 campus sites across the country. The top 11 in the country and Sioux City local host institution will automatically advance to the field of 24 in Sioux City, Iowa at the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena on Nov. 30-Dec. 4. The final 12 spots will be filled by the winners of the opening round matches.

Match #3: #6 seed Dakota State (11-21, 4-10) at #3 seed Minot State (10-20, 8-6) - 7 p.m.
Match #4: #7 seed SD School of Mines (10-17, 3-11) at #2 seed Dickinson State (19-12, 12-1) - 8 p.m.
DAC Volleyball Semifinals - Wednesday, Nov. 10
Match #5: Match #1 winner vs. Match #2 winner, at highest seed - Time TBA
Match #6: Match #3 winner vs. Match #4 winner, at highest seed - Time TBA
DAC Volleyball Championship - Saturday, Nov. 13
Match #7: Semifinals winners at highest remaining seed - Time TBA
