Windsor listed on ESPN academic squad

Josh WindsorJosh Windsor of Dakota State University was listed on the ESPN Academic All-District VII team College Division, which was announced Thursday.  He was listed as third team that included schools from NCAA Division II and NAIA.

Windsor, a senior at Dakota State, earned a spot at defensive back position with a 3.70 GPA while majoring in computer science.  As a team captain for the Trojans, he records 71 tackles this season.  Windsor started in every game for DSU this year.

Nominations and voting for the All-America programs are conducted by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America from South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.  Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in athletic standing, maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.3 and be a starter or key reserve to be nominated.

Josh is the son of Paul and Lori Windsor of Harrison, Neb.
