DSU Men's Basketball heads to Trinity Bible Friday

The Dakota State University men's basketball team will head on the road Friday night.  The Trojans will face Trinity Bible College Lions in a non-conference game.  Tip-off is slated for 8 p.m. at Ray Ulmer Fieldhouse in Ellendale, N.D.

Dakota State is 4-3 overall record.  The Trojans alternated win and loss in the first seven games, winning the last game against No. 8 University of Sioux Falls in the Ed Harter Classic last Sunday.

Trinity Bible is undefeated in two games.  The Lions swept Association Free Lutheran Bible School last weekend in Plymouth, Minn., 74-53 and 87-69.  Trinity Bible will play their season home opener Tuesday night against Turtle Mountain Community College.

In both teams' last meeting at DSU Fieldhouse on Feb. 15, 2010, the Trojans grabbed a 36-23 halftime lead and defeated the Lions 84-59.  Dakota State shot 50 percent from the field compared to the Lions' 31.3 percent.  Both teams made 10 3-pointers in the game.  The Trojans outrebounded Trinity Bible 47-30.  Every Trojan players scored in the game.
