2010 NAIA Cross Country National ChampionshipsVANCOUVER, Wash. - The Dakota State University sent four cross country runners to the NAIA Cross Country National Championships Saturday.  The meet was held at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, hosted by Cascade Collegiate conference and Concordia (Ore.) University.

Stephanie Warnke (junior – Fairfax, S.D.) finished 105th in the women’s race. She ran a time of 19 minutes and 24 seconds. Justyna Mudy from Shorter (Ga.) won the individual title with a time of 17:42. A total of 331 runners competed in the women’s race.

On the men’s side, Andy Coy (sophomore – Hill City, S.D.) placed 92nd with a time of 26:31. Devon Berkness (senior – Madison, S.D.) was 118th in 26:44. Matt Fideler (senior – Volga, S.D.) finished 136th with a time of 26:56. Kithuka Kennedy of Wayland Baptist (Texas) won the individual title with a time of 24 minutes and two seconds. A total of 326 runners competed in the men’s race.

The NAIA Cross Country National Championships ended the season for DSU’s cross country teams.
