DSU men’s basketball hands Trinity Bible first loss Friday night

Mike LarsenELLENDALE, N.D. – The Dakota State University men's basketball team traveled to Ray Ulmer Fieldhouse Friday night. The Trojans faced Trinity Bible College in a non-conference action. The Trojans raced to a 30-point halftime lead to defeat the Lions 107-66.

Dakota State won their second straight game and raised their overall record to 5-3. Trinity Bible suffered their first loss in four games.

The Trojans outscored the Lions 50-42 in the second-half.

Santino ClayMike Larsen led the Trojans with 26 points. He grabbed nine rebounds and dished out seven assists. Santino Clay added 17 points. Brad Martin scored 14 points off the bench. Spencer Adams and Bryce Snyder each had 13 points. Jordan King recorded seven assists.

For Trinity Bible, Miguel Rosario had 17 points. Terrance Sevion scored 15 points. Joshua Morris had 13 points. Dylan McKneely added 11 points.

Dakota State will face NCAA Division II Augustana College in an exhibition game on Friday night. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. at the Elmen Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.
