DSU women's basketball plays three road games this week

The Dakota State University Trojan women's basketball team will play three road games this week.  On Tuesday night at 7 p.m., the Trojans travel to Pepsi Center in Mankato, Minn. to take on NCAA Division II Minnesota State-Mankato in an exhibition game.

DSU will face their former long-time DSU head coach Jeff Dittman and his 21st-ranked Hastings squad on Friday night.  Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. at Osborne Family Sports Complex in Hastings, Neb.

The Trojans play York (Neb.) on Saturday afternoon.  The non-conference game will be held at Freeman Center in York, Neb. at 4 p.m. (NOTICE TIME CHANGE)

Dakota State lifted their overall record to 2-3 after a 90-37 rout over Trinity Bible last Friday night.

Minnesota State-Mankato won two straight games in their season opening home classing last weekend.  The Mavericks defeated NAIA's Preseason No. 8-ranked Grand View (Iowa) 56-46 and California (Penn.) 59-56.

Hastings, No. 21 in the NAIA Women's Basketball Division II Preseason Poll, is 4-4 overall.  The Broncos suffered a 86-46 loss in their conference season opener at University of Sioux Falls last Saturday.

York (Neb.) is 1-5 overall record.  Their lone win of the season came on Nov. 9 with a home win over Tabor (Kan.) 63-61.
