Trojan Men's Basketball faces two NCAA Division II teams this weekend

The Dakota State University men's basketball team faces two teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference this weekend (NCAA Division II).  The Trojans travel to Elmen Center on Friday night for an exhibition game with Augustana College at 7 p.m. in Sioux Falls, S.D.

On Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m., DSU will visit Wayne State in a regular season action.  The game will take place at Rice Auditorium in Wayne, Neb.

Dakota State is 5-3 overall this season after winning two straight games.  The Trojans defeated No. 8 University of Sioux Falls and Trinity Bible in Trojan's current two-game winning streak.

Augustana is undefeated in two games.  The Vikings defeated Jamestown 75-65 and University of Sioux Falls 69-53.  Augustana will host Valley City State on Wednesday night in Sioux Falls.

Wayne State opened their season with three straight wins at home.  The Wildcats defeated Morningside (76-74), Nebraska-Kearney (72-71 OT) and York (Neb.) (75-64).

Mike Larsen leads the Trojans in scoring with an average of 18.5 points per game.  Spencer Adams averages 15.8 points per game.  Jordan King records 37 assists (4.6 assists per game).  Adams leads the team in rebounds (7.0 rebounds per game).  Larsen records 21 steals this season.  Santino Clay leads the team in blocked shots with 10.
