King named to DAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Jordan KingThe Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) has selected Dakota State's Jordan King as men's basketball player of the week.

King, a senior guard from Arlington, S.D., had 23 points in Trojans' conference opener 77-68 win at Mayville State on Friday, Dec. 3.  He also dished out seven assists, grabbed three rebounds and recorded a steal.  King was 8-for-12 from the field, including 3-for-5 from the 3-point range.  He was 4-for-7 at the free-throw line.

King leads the DAC conference in assists category.  He has amassed 54 assists this season, which is 12th in the nation according to the NAIA DakStats statistical website.  King ranks 14th in assists per game with an average of 5.4 assists per game.

Jordan is the son of Ron and Jolene King of Arlington, S.D.
