Adams honored by DAC as Men's Basketball Player of the Week

The Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) has selected Dakota State's junior forward Spencer Adams as its men's basketball player of the week. It is the second straight week that a Dakota State men's basketball athlete has been selected for this honor.
Adams recorded a double-double of 34 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in Trojans' 80-76 win over NCAA Division III Presentation on Dec. 9. He added six steals, two blocked shots and an assist in the victory. Adams went 11-for-20 from the field, including 2-for-6 from the 3-point arc. He was 10-for-15 from the free-throw line.
Adams leads the team in rebounds with an average of 6.6 rebounds per game (72 rebounds in 11 games).
Spencer is the son of Roosevelt and Felicia Johnson of Champaign, Ill.
