Windsor named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Football Scholar-Athlete

Josh WindsorROME, Ga. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that a total of 231 football student-athletes have been named to 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Josh Windsor of Dakota State University football earned this prestigious honor for his second straight year.

A student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved at least junior academic status to qualify.

Windsor is a defensive back for the Trojans. He played in all ten Trojan football games this past fall and recorded 71 tackles. He was one of DSU's football team captains. Windsor was also named to ESPN Academic All-District VII third team College Division earlier this season.

Windsor was nominated to the 2010 National Football Foundation (NFF) National Scholar-Athlete award.

Josh is the son of Paul and Lori Windsor of Harrison, Neb. He is a senior Computer Science major at Dakota State University.
