Trojans to take five athletes to Husker Invitational this weekend

The Dakota State University indoor track and field will be sending five student-athletes to the Husker Invitational this weekend, hosted by NCAA Division I University of Nebraska.

The meet will feature numerous schools from NCAA Division I.  Over 300 athletes are expected to compete in the invitational.

Andy Coy (sophomore - Hill City, S.D.) will be running the men's 800-meter run.  Currently, he is the fourth fastest runner in the nation in the one-mile run with a time of four minutes and 14.52 seconds.  Coy had qualified for NAIA Nationals in the 800-meter run, one-mile run and 600-meter dash.

Devon Berkness (senior - Madison, S.D.) competes in the men's 3000-meter run.

Anthony Drealan will be running as an unattached.  He will run in the special men's 3000-meter run.

Danielle Rowe (senior - Rapid City, S.D.) will participate in the women's high jump.  She had already qualified for NAIA Nationals.

Brittany Young (sophomore - Casper, Wyo.) races in the women's 800-meter run.
