DAC Softball opening weekend at Black Hills State canceled

MADISON, S.D. - The Dakota State University softball team was originally scheduled to open their Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) season on Sunday and Monday at Black Hills State. Due to cold temperatures and snow in the forecast, they have been forced to cancel the four-game series.
The Trojans' four-game series with Black Hills State will not be made up.
Dakota State returns back to action on Friday, April 1 for a non-conference doubleheader with Presentation. The first game is slated to start at 3 p.m. DSU will travel to Valley City State for a DAC four-game series on April 2 and April 3 in Valley City, N.D. The doubleheader starts at 1 p.m. on each day.
