Doxey named DAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

The Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) baseball has selected Dakota State's sophomore Seth Doxey as its pitcher of the week honor (for the week of March 28-April 3). He helped the Trojans record their first win of the season at Mount Marty on March 24.
Doxey pitched a complete game victory in his lone outing for the week. He tossed seven innings and gave up one run on three hits. Doxey recorded six strikeouts and allowed no walks in a Trojans' 6-1 non-conference win over the Lancers in Yankton, S.D.
Seth is the son of George, Jr. and Cindy Doxey of Clarksville, Tenn.
Dakota State will open their DAC conference schedule this weekend. The Trojans face Valley City State in a four-game series.
