Wayne State transfer Johnson signs to play Trojan Football

Tyler JohnsonDakota State University head coach Josh Anderson is proud to announce the signing of Tyler Johnson.  He is a transfer from NCAA Division II Wayne State.  He will play as a tight end for the Trojans this fall.

Johnson - 6'1" and 205 pounds - graduated from Elgin High School.  He played under head coach Charlie Wells.  Johnson was named to All-Conference first team.  He was chosen as the most valuable defensive player.  He also lettered in basketball and track.  Johnson earned Senior Math Excellence award.

Tyler is the son of David Johnson and Dawn Meadows of Elgin, Neb.
