Trojans open DAC Softball Postseason Tournament Friday morning

The Dakota State University softball team heads to North Dakota for the first time this season. The Trojans open their final Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) Tournament in Minot, N.D. at South Hill Complex on Friday.
The seventh-seed Dakota State (14-23, 2-16 DAC record) faces second-seed and host team Minot State (26-8, 13-2) in the opening round at 10 a.m. The result of the Dakota State-Minot State will face either Valley City State or Black Hills State at 3 p.m.
The DAC Postseason Tournament Champion will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA Softball National Tournament in Gulf Shores, Ala. on May 19-25.
