DSU competes in the 87th annual Howard Wood Relays this weekend

Howard Wood Relays Schedule of Events

The Dakota State University outdoor track and field teams will compete in the 87th annual Howard Wood Relays on Friday and Saturday in Sioux Falls, S.D.  More than 3,000 middle school, high school, college and university student-athletes will be competing in one of the largest meet in the Midwest region.

The meet will feature numerous schools from NCAA and NAIA in the two-day event.

Dakota State participates in the Howard Wood Relays this weekend to prepare for their final Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championship meet to be held on May 13 in Spearfish, S.D.

Andy Coy will be competing in the men's feature 800-meter run on Friday night at 8:55 p.m.

On Friday, the first field event will start at 11:30 a.m. with the women's hammer throw.  The women's 4 x 100-meter relay is the first college/university running event at 3:40 p.m.

The meet continues on Saturday with the first event at 8 a.m.
