Stevenson earns Daktronics-NAIA Softball Scholar Athlete honor

GULF SHORES, Ala. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that 334 softball student-athletes have been named 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes. Ashley Stevenson from Dakota State earned this prestigious honor.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
Ashley is a junior Biology major at Dakota State. She is the daughter of Daryl Stevenson and Stephanie Woodcock of Victoria, B.C. Canada.
