Oklahoma Wesleyan transfer to play for Trojan Football

Jordan MatternDakota State University head football coach Josh Anderson is proud to announce the latest signing of Jordan Mattern, who will play tight end for the Trojans next fall.  He is a transfer from Oklahoma Wesleyan and a Harrisburg high school standout.

Mattern - 6'3" and 205 pounds - played under head coach Scott Ebert at Harrisburg High School.  He was named to Big 8 All-Conference and All-State Honorable Mention selections.  Mattern earned 'Tiger Award' for his outstanding sportsmanship, leadership and dedication on and off the field.  He also lettered in baseball for four years.  He was named to second team All-State catcher for two years.

Jordan is the son of Butch and Shawn Mattern of Harrisburg, S.D.  He plans to study Physical Education at Dakota State University.
