DSU Baseball announces 2011-12 recruiting class

MADISON, S.D. - Scott Hortness, in his second year as Dakota State University head baseball coach, is excited to announce the 2011-12 recruiting class. Twelve transfers and nineteen newcomers will join the Trojan Baseball team this fall.

The following transfers that will join the Trojans are:

Mike Chartier - Tewksbury, Mass. - incoming junior right-handed pitcher from Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Mass.
Ryan Bourcier - Woods Tower, Mich. - incoming junior first baseman from Macomb Community College; played for Dakota State's baseball team in 2009-10.
Corey Pasichnyk - Woodlands, Manitoba, Canada - incoming junior outfielder from Williston Community College in Williston, N.D.
Andrew Sweeter - Lennox, S.D. - incoming sophomore catcher/pitcher from Minnesota West Community College in Worthington, Minn.
Rays Roman - Lowell, Mass. - incoming junior shortstop from Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Mass.
Anyelo Roman - Lowell, Mass. - incoming junior right-handed pitcher/first baseman/third baseman from Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Mass.
Tanner Thompson-Moad - Volga, S.D. - incoming sophomore outfielder/catcher from South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D.
Cameron Krump - Colton, S.D. - incoming sophomore left-handed pitcher from Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville, Iowa; will play for DSU men's basketball team during the winter.
Jordan Mattern - Harrisburg, S.D. - incoming sophomore catcher from Oklahoma Wesleyan; also plays for the DSU Trojan Football team.
Kellon Romberg - Colorado Springs, Colo. - incoming sophomore third baseman/first baseman/right-handed pitcher from Colorado State-Pueblo.
Thomas Hall - Fairbanks, Alaska - incoming sophomore right-handed pitcher from Fulton Montgomery Community College.
Seth Rockafellow - Tea, S.D. - incoming sophomore right-handed pitcher from Mount Marty College.
