Football tailgate party to be held prior to game Saturday

MADISON, S.D. - The Dakota State University Alumni Association is sponsoring a tailgate party from noon to 4 p.m. at Trojan Field on Saturday, Sept. 24 during the annual DSU's homecoming celebration.
Friends, family and alumni of DSU Football team are invited to attend this year's homecoming tailgate party. The DSU Alumni Association will be providing a meal of burger/brats, chips, cookie and soda for $4 per plate with live music by Andy Gibson and Dueling Pianos. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs.
The 1971 DSC's Boothill Bowl team will also make an appearance in the tailgate party. Come out and greet the 1971 Boothill Bowl team as they celebrate their 40th anniversary reunion this weekend. The 1971 Trojan football team made history as the first South Dakota college football team to record a post-season win in a 23-20 comeback victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State.
